V súčasnosti je celosvetovo morbídna obezita nazývaná epidémiou 21.storočia. Obezita predstavuje najväčší zdravotný chronický problém, ktorý súvisí s rozvojom metabolických ochorení a vznikom komplikácií. Odborníci sa zhodujú, že obezita má negatívny dopad na kvalitu života.V teoretickej časti našej diplomovej práce sme sa venovali obezite, epidemiológií a liečbe obezity. Pozornosť sme venovali sleeve resekcie žalúdka ako jednou z možností reštrikčnej liečby obezity a následne pooperačnému sledovaniu obéznych pacientov.V praktickej časti práce chceme poukázať na efektivitu sleeve resekcie žalúdka na kvalitu života pacienta a následne výsledky porovnať domácimi a zahraničnými štúdiami. Výberový súbor tvorilo 60 respondentov po absolvovaní bariatrického výkonu sleeve resekcie žalúdka. Prieskumu sa zúčastnilo 27 žien a 33 mužov. Priemerný vek u oboch pohlaví bol 46,66 rokov ± 10. Cieľom práce bolo zistiť mieru efektívnosti operácie sleeve resekcie žalúdka pre morbídnu obezitu a jej vplyv na kvalitu života pacientov. Na zistenie údajov sme použili sme dotazník zostavený podľa Likertovej škály. Otázky v dotazníku sme rozdelili do piatich domén - fyzické zdravie, duševné zdravie, vitalita, spoločenský status a sociálny status.Zistili sme, že BMI 48,49 ± 5,99 namerané pred operáciou pokleslo na BMI 34,35 ± 5,09 po operácií. Na základe vyhodnotených výsledkov sme zistili, že sleeve resekcia žalúdka má pozitívny vplyv na kvalitu života respondentov vo všetkých uvedených doménach. V otvorenej otázke respondenti uvádzali, že vyžadujú širšiu a lepšiu informovanosť o sleeve resekcii žalúdka zo strany lekárov.Na základe výsledkov prieskumu, usudzujeme, že sleeve resekcia žalúdka je efektívna metóda v chirurgickej liečbe morbídnej obezity, ktorá pozitívne ovplyvňuje kvalitu života pacientov.
Nowadays is worldwide morbid obesity called epidemic of 21. century. Obesity is a major health chronic problem that is associated with the development of metabolic diseases and developing complications. Experts agree that obesity has a negative impact on the quality of life. In the theoretical part of our diploma thesis we dealt with obesity, epidemiology and treatment of obesity. We paid attention to sleeve gastrectomy as one of possible restriction treatment of obesity, and then postoperative observation obese patients.In the practical part we want to refer the effectiveness of sleeve gastrectomy on patients quality of life and then compare the results of domestic and foreign studies. The sample consisted of 60 respondents after passing bariatric surgery sleeve gastrectomy. 27 women and 33 men participated in the survey. The average age for both sexes was 46.66 years ± 10. The aim of this study was to find out the level of effectiveness of the operation sleeve gastrectomy for morbid obesity and its impact on patients quality of life. We have used questionnaire devised by Likert scale to find out of data for research. The questionnaire was divided into five domains - physical health, mental health, vitality, social status and social status.We found that BMI 48.49 ± 5.99 measured before surgery decreased on the BMI 34.35 ± 5.09 after surgery. Based on the evaluation of the results, we found that gastric sleeve resection has a positive impact on the quality of life of respondents in all these domains. In an open question respondents stated that they require to be broader and better informed about the sleeve gastrectomy by doctors.Based on the survey results, we conclude that gastric sleeve resection is an effective method in the surgical treatment of morbid obesity, which positively affects the quality of life of patients.
